Using this site

You may read, print and share the pages here for your own use, including at work. You may quote a measurement with a link back to the entry it came from. You may not republish the entries or the drawings wholesale, resell them, or feed them to a service that rebuilds the site under another name.

No professional advice

The content is general measurement reference material about furniture and display geometry. It is not medical, physiotherapy, occupational health, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for an assessment of your own body by a qualified person. Any decision you take about your workstation, your furniture or your health on the basis of this site is your own.

Accuracy and changes

The figures are approximations derived from published anthropometric ratios and are stated to the nearest centimetre. Furniture is manufactured to its own tolerances, floors are not level, and bodies differ. Entries are revised when a better source appears; the date a spec was last checked is printed on the entry.

The site may change, and entries may be added, corrected or withdrawn, without notice. It may also be unavailable - this is a small operation with no uptime guarantee.

Advertising

Pages carry advertising served by third parties, including Google AdSense. Advertisers do not see your reading of a page before it is published and have no influence over the measurements in it. The presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement of the product, and no entry names a brand in exchange for payment.

Intellectual property

The text, the numbering system and the generated drawings on this site belong to Caliber Desk. Product names and trademarks mentioned anywhere belong to their owners and are used only to describe a category of product.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Caliber Desk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including loss arising from a purchasing decision made after reading it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
